Summer Solstice at Paradise

The summer solstice has arrived and the Paradise Community Hydroponic Garden is in full bloom!
Our resident gardeners, young and old, are already enjoying the fruits of their labor. 300 strawberry plants comprising three varieties were planted at the Paradise Community Garden in May. Two varieties are annual June-bearing and ready to be enjoyed now. The third variety is perennial and ever-bearing, and will produce fruit from July onwards. Meanwhile, our raised beds right next to the hydroponic towers have begun to sprout collards, cilantro, potatoes and Swiss chard. They feel perfectly ensconced and are quietly soaking up the rays of TLC. Thank you again to everyone for their hard work, dedication and collaborative spirit. Your enthusiasm for green and healthy living through gardening is growing across Paradise at Parkside and our communities!
