About the Event

Neighborhood Associates Public Kinship Think Tank Conversation featuring Thomas Legrand

Thursday, November 3, 2022

1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Eastern Time (5:00 PM GMT)

We are pleased to present Dr. Bobby Austin in conversation with Dr. Thomas Legrand, author of the new book The Politics of Being: Wisdom and Science for a New Development Paradigm.  These pioneering thinkers will discuss ancient and new ideas for achieving both inner peace and world peace.

How can local conversations held in the spirit of neighborliness promote civility and understanding?  Does starting with mutual respect hold the key to building bridges and maintaining peace?

Public Kinship, a leadership strategy grounded in the precept of loving thy neighbor as thyself, offers a path toward addressing the pressing issues of our time.  Join Dr. Austin and Dr. Legrand as they explore the role of Public Kinship in making the world livable and harmonious. Drawing on past wisdom, these two thought leaders will consider what can and should be done now to Repair the Breach for the future.  A Q&A period with the audience is scheduled to follow this fireside chat.

The Neighborhood Associates Public Kinship Think Tank facilitates conversations on fresh perspectives and dialogues in the spirit of confronting personal, local, national, and international tumult.  Help us imagine possibilities for a more harmonious future.
